Located Downtown one block from Hilo Bay, our eco lodgings are an eclectic mix of old cottages and apartments. Founders  Jasper Moore and Megan Isaac will tell you that their lush tropical garden,  walled on all sides, has been the inspiration to create a hotel stay reminiscent of bygone eras. Since launching their eco-accommodations in 2012, their delight has been to create an atmosphere filled with with a sense of an older world

“It is our great delight to host you here. We feel honored to wake up every day on a property with so much history here on this magical island. Our accommodations and our garden reflects a tropical style and allows guests to be immersed in beauty and natural elements .”

“In every great project, there is always creative risk.  For us, it all started with a 5 gallon bucket of a color called ‘hot lips pink.’  After that there was no looking back. We were committed to a color journey that we’ve been on ever since.”

Originally from Ventura, California, Jasper is a musician and a carpenter. Jasper has been living in Hawaii over three decades. Megan is an Australian with a passion for color, light and design.

“In the process of defining what makes a great hotel stay, we have been inspired to create a setting where people leave us feeling inspired.”

“People see the buddha statues and water lilies in the garden and they say this place reminds them of Thailand or Bali. We love compliments like this. It tells tells us that we got pretty close to the dream we had when we began.”
